Ten of us met up last Saturday (22 Nov 2014) at Goodworth Clatford Village Club for a beading workshop with Alison Nash. Alison brought a vast array of beaded collars, purses, boxes and ornaments to inspire us and we were absolutely amazed by the beauty of the pieces she showed us.
Alison explained the basic principles of beading and with the help of information sheets and templates we set to work. We learned how to attach a cabouchon and how to create a neat edge to our work. Due to intense concentration it turned out to be one of the quietest workshops we have ever run!

Most of us didn't have time to finish our pieces on the day so we will have a 'show and tell' table later to display our beautiful work with our newly acquired skills.

Many thanks, Alison for a great workshop, it was truly inspiring and we all had a very enjoyable day.
